**Please Read** As the countdown to Cataclysm diminishes, I figured a quick 4.0 pre-cata video was in order. All of this footage is from Patch 4.0.3, the shattering of Azeroth patch. As many of you will complain my UI is a mess, and I tried my best to fix it but as soon as I had it set up, the patch ruined it again. Between a new monitor and broken addons, the whole ordeal has been a headache. You can see some UI changes to it in between clips, as I tweaked it during the wait. I probably wont release another video until the next year, considering I have finals, holidays, and some leveling to do in between. I wish everyone a happy holidays and a happy new year! Some people have asked me about my thoughts on Cata, so I am going to quickly summarize what I think. Be aware that the information I have currently may be drastically skewed in just a few days, as hot fixes are coming out faster than they can be analyzed. Priest- It seems they will still be a weak healer in comparison to the Holy Paladin. and many believe that Priest will continue to bring up the rear in the lineup of healers even in Cata. Despite this, their unique offensive play style and amazing utility will continue to make them a viable arena choice for certain comps. Rogues- I am disappointed in the current class changes for Rogues. bit.ly This is an overview of some of the WoW priest Cataclysm changes including new priest spells. Heal is available at level 16. Introduced at a low level, the "new" Heal spell will functionally work much like a down-ranked Greater Heal did in the past. If you need to heal then efficiency is an issue and Heal is the way to go. Mind Spike is available at level 81. It deals Shadowfrost damage and puts a debuff on the target that improves subsequent Mind Spike damage. Mind Spike provides a quick nuke to use in situations where the priest doesn't have time to set up the normal rotation, such as when adds are dying too fast or you have to swap targets a lot (1.5-second cast, 30-yard range, no cooldown). Inner Will is available at level 83. It increases movement speed by 12% and reduces the mana cost of instant-cast spells by 10%. This buff will be exclusive with Inner Fire, meaning you can't have both up at once. Inner Fire provides a spell power and Armor buff. Leap of Faith is available at level 85: With this spell you can pull a party or raid member to your location. Leap of Faith (or "Life Grip") is intended to give priests a tool to help rescue fellow players who are being focused on in PvP or just can't seem to get out of the fire in time.
