An interesting moment from Burning Crusade. One of the random item quests from the Ghostlands is a locket that belongs to Sylvanas, you are asked to return it to her. When you do, an emote pops up as follows:
“Lady Sylvanas Windrunner looks down at the discarded necklace. In her sadness, the lady incants a glamour, which beckons forth Highborne spirits. The chamber resonates with their ancient song about the Sin’dorei…”
Just another interesting and fun quest moment from Burning Crusade!

Sylvanas was a high elf protecting Kael’Thalas when Arthas invaded the Sunwell, the well that the high elves used to get power from. Sylvanas was fearless and fought to the last, however Arthas managed to defeat her. Instead of killing here honorably, he decided to turn her in to the Undead. That’s how she ended up like this

Also, the song’s title is Lament of the highborne, you can download it from most file-sharing programs (limewire, winmix, ect..) Also…(pet peeve) Sylvanas was a HIGH elf, NOT a blood elf. She was killed *before* Kael’thas re-named them, and before they had to resort to feeding on fel energy to satisfy their magic addiction…hence their green eyes. High elves have blue eyes, as did Sylvanas when she was alive.

For those wanting …
For those wanting the quest…you have to be at least level 16 in order to get it. You then go to Windrunner spire (right by windrunner village) in the ghostlands. The necklace is a random drop off the undead and humanoid mobs there, called the lady’s necklace. Accept the quest and take it to the deathstalker in Tranquillien, who gives you the next leg, which is to deliver it to Sylvanas in Undercity.
